Rebecca Uhlman

Rebecca Uhlman is an emerging poet from southeast Pennsylvania. She writes with an interest in identity, myth, religion, and speculative poetry.

Rebecca is a graduate of Agnes Scott College (‘25) with a BA in Creative Writing. Her work has been supported by the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference, and she has been honored by receiving an American Academy of Poets College Prize in 2023 under the pen name Julian River, as well as an Agnes Scott Robert Frost award in 2025. She was also named the winner of the 2023 Agnes Scott College Writers’ Festival contest in the playwriting category.
